Medacted is a free daily puzzle game published by Ward Run. By playing it you accept these terms. They are short on purpose.

Medacted is educational only. It is not medical advice and it is not a medical device.

The files describe diseases in general terms for a game. They are not written about you, they cannot account for your circumstances, and nothing in them diagnoses, treats or replaces a clinician. Never delay seeking medical help, and never change a treatment, because of anything you read here. If you are unwell, speak to a clinician. If it is urgent, contact NHS 111 or emergency services.

ACCURACY

Every file is written in textbook register, independently reviewed and checked against national clinical guidance current at the time of writing. Guidance changes. We correct errors when we find them, but we do not warrant that every file reflects the latest position, and clinical decisions must always rest on current guidance rather than on a game.

FAIR USE

Play it, share your result, talk about it. Please do not:

• republish the files as your own, or scrape the archive wholesale
• post the day's answer where it spoils the game for others
• attempt to obtain puzzles before their release date
• interfere with the service or the experience of other players

The text of the files, the artwork and the name remain ours. Quoting a little with credit is welcome.

NO GUARANTEE OF SERVICE

The daily file is free and provided as is. We may change, pause or retire it at any time. Your streaks live on your device, so clearing your browser data will end them and we cannot restore them.

LIABILITY

To the extent the law allows, Ward Run is not liable for any loss arising from use of Medacted. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

CHANGES

If these terms change materially, the date below changes and the new version applies from then.
